ABOUT
Bo has a sensitive, creative mind and an excellent drawing hand visualizing her designs and concepts. She has a strong ability to develop fashion concepts and products and to make the final product up to plan. She is very into Fashion Styling by creating beautiful outfit combinations for people. Goal directed and finishing in time, efforts taken for granted.
Twenty one years of age, born in The Netherlands of Dutch origin. Currently living in Amsterdam for almost 3 years now. My neighborhood is Amsterdam Centrum and is very multi-cultural.
Bo is a dedicated hard working, balanced individual. She knows how to cope with stress, deadlines and accepts to learn from advice and criticism. She developed strong project management skills with respect to timeline, contents and communication.
From her 12th year of age, she already bought Vogue magazines and cutted out inspiring outfits and made huge fashion collages on her room wall from it. When she was in New York City for the first time when she was 15 years old, she was even more inspired to work in the fashion industry. The city made her believe she can do anything if she puts her mind to it.
Bo pursued her diploma as a fully equipped Junior Stylist. She has a nicely filled portfolio full with fashion designs, collaborations, photoshoots comprising a good base for further development in fashion design/styling. She wanted to pursue a Bachelors’ degree at AMFI and do the course Fashion & Branding (international). After a year working on this study, she realized she wanted to develop in Styling and become a professional Fashion Stylist.
Bo lived in London from August 2017 – February 2018, performing an internship with FyodorGolan Fashioners at Somerset House. She participates in full in their business cycle, completing tasks in the different work processes and works as part of the team in their efforts to excell at the shows of the London Fashion Weeks.
Back in the Netherlands, Bo worked at the Dutch fashion brand Vanilia in ‘s-Hertogenbosch and in Amsterdam in the Van Baerlestraat in Amsterdam. She moved to Amsterdam in August 2019 and started working as a Style Advisor.
Since October 2019 she worked full-time at the French (Parisian) fashion brand The Kooples as a Full-Time Sales Associate in the P.C. Hooftstraat in Amsterdam. Since October she works part-time as a Sales Associate at the Dutch luxury shoe company Shoebaloo in the P.C. Hoofstraat in Amsterdam.
Since September 2020 she’s studying “Allround Fashion Styling” at a private styling school in the Fashion World Center in Amsterdam to become a professional fashion stylist.
During her study at Style School ByDanie, she immediately started to work on her styling portfolio. She met so many new people in the fashion industry who inspired and motivated her to give even 150% on this side of the fashion industry. She realized that by doing you learn so incredible much by every move you make. Her interest in Editorial Fashion Styling and Videoclip Styling grew by every project she did. She loves to create innovative concepts and to help people out who don’t know what to wear or don’t know how to work on their concept fashion wise.
